Various other Imaginary Friends-related things I've done...

This was inspired by longtime fan John B.'s email
and guestbook sign-off, "Eat more potatoes."
(He's from Idaho. For my international readers,
they grow lots of potatoes there. )

I'm a big fan of Quentin Tarantino's first two films,
RESERVOIR DOGS and PULP FICTION.
I do not recommend them to the majority
of readers of this site, since they are extremely
violent and full of profanity...and, you know,
the Catholic Lady and my Granny aren't really
into that. But for those of you who are familiar
with the film or its many posters, here's hoping
you get a chuckle out of the above image.

Self-explanatory, I think. For Halloween, see.

Definitenly NOT self-explanatory. This was the prize in a
mini-contest I won - a piece of incentive art for voting on
Buzzcomix.net, dedicated to whomever answered some
technical question for me. Raymond T, the grand guru of
dynamic-studios.com won. If you like video game industry
news, go check him out, he's a good guy. As for the pic,
I have no idea why Jeff is playing video games against
a pirate...whatchamacallit.
Piece of toast, maybe?
With a pegleg and eyepatch?

When I slacked and posted just the line art on #209,
I put out a tongue-in-cheek offer for a Mad Libs-style
contest where the readers supplied the dialogue.

A longtime friend and reader took me up on it,
and did an even better job than I could have done!

These were the first five
potential covers for
IMAGINARY FRIENDS:
THE NOVEL, until
I settled on the final image.

#1) "Reflection Cover"

#2) "Silhouette Cover"

#3) "Silhouette with White Collar "

#4) "Shoulder Line Art"

#5) Photo Cover

Aaaaand...

...the final cover!
